OFSTED Inspections

By law, all childcare institutions are required to be inspected at least every four years, by the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted).
More information on how Ofsted inspect nursery education providers can be found from their website, click here to visit the webpage in a new window now.

The Alphabet Train has a superb record of Ofsted Reports from throughout it's history. All our inspection reports (since 2004) are available through this page.
Reports from inspections prior to this are available direct from Ofsted (these have not been made available electronically by Ofsted, so must be posted out direct from Ofsted).

In a recent OFSTED report, we received the highest merit possible for each of the areas of child development. Only 29% of pre-schools in the country reached this level of achievment!

This doesn't mean we are going to become complacent - we will continue to strive to better ourselves in every respect!
